Hi All,
I'm wanting to export the data from an Approval flow. I'd like to see the names, choices (Accept/Decline) and any comments. Without being able to get the data, the whole process seems senseless.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks, Martyn
Hi RobElliot, Thanks for this work back in 2019. I'm currently working on creating this SharePoint list with approvals and rejections. It appears a few items have been updated in Power Automate, any chance you could show a another screenshot in the new Power Automate with this same flow?
Also, this flow only demonstrates the approvals and rejections instigated by ONE person, correct? Would I need to create multiple flows for each person's approvals and can they all migrate to the same SharePoint list?
Hi Rob,
Would you be so kind as to clarify part of the 'Update Item' stage?
I can't work out where in the stage it knows where to push the output values to. Should it go to an Excel file or a new list? If Excel, I'm assuming I have to create it first with matching columns?
Regards
Martyn
Hi Rob,
Many thanks for taking the time to send me your suggested solution - it is very much appreciated.
Best wishes,
Martyn

Hi @spike8136 you can either save the approval decision, date, approver name and any comments to columns for the relevant item in the SharePoint list which you could then export to Excel for further analysis. Or you could add this data to a row in an Excel spreadsheet.
For saving it to a relevant columns in a SharePoint lisyt, have a look at the images below.
