Start aflow using power apps

Hello reader,

i would like to create a flow that is started with a power apps button, the power app would be pretty simple and any user could use it,

There would be just a user text input and button. I need to transport the information from the user text input to the flow.

Is there a trigger in the flow that would help me out in this?

How do i start the flow with my button?

Thanks for your opinions

JK

@JKYQ  Hi! You can easily trigger a Power Automate flow in Power Apps. First you need to create a flow in PowerApps and define the input variables (the values you need in your flow). Afterwards just use the function YOURFLOWNAME.Run(Inputvalue1,inputvalue2). The input values are depending on what you defined as input variables in your flow trigger. They will be in the same order! Hope that helps 😀!

Here you can find the button to create a flow. If you create a new flow you will see an interface that you are more than known with! After you've saved your flow, you can run it within your Power App by using the formula YOURFLOWNAME.Run(inputvar1, inputvar2). This formula can for instance be placed within a button under the property 'onClick'.
