Inquiry on Filtering Excel Worksheet Cells Using Power Automate

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek advice on how to properly set up a filter for a date-formatted column in an Excel worksheet using Power Automate.

Specifically, I am looking to filter data for the year 2023 from a column that contains both 2024 and 2023 data. However, the current settings do not seem to apply the filter correctly.

If anyone has experience or advice on this matter, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,

Just to make sure you are talking about Power Automat Desktop right? And not Power Automate (cloud / browser version).

For me it worked if I just use filter to contain the year.

In this example data there are dates from 2015, 2016 and 2017. If I use filter cells in Excel worksheet and set the column with the correct index (I could also have the column name G in it) and Filters to apply Contains 2017 then it shows only the rows with 2017 dates.

Thank you for your response. Yes, my operation is the same as what you demonstrated, but I still cannot filter out the desired data (I am getting blank data instead). However, I thought of another filtering method by setting the date range from January 1, 2023, to December 30, 2023, which successfully filters the data. As for the reason why the same operation as yours does not yield the filtered data, it remains unknown.
