Using a Flow to populate a Word Document using Quick Parts

Hi All,

I am trying to populate a Word Document using Quick Parts as described in Laura's helpful guide here - Website Blocked: Blogs & Forums (wonderlaura.com) and in @WarrenBelz's helpful instructions here Solved: PowerApps Populate word document - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

However, in my case I would like the trigger to be "When a file or item is modified" instead of a manual trigger in Laura's guide. As a result, there is no opportunity to define the inputs as in Laura's guide and the Quick Parts fields are not displayed in the "Update File Properties" step.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible to use a flow with an automated trigger and Quick Parts to populate a Word document?

I think you can replace the manual trigger with the one you want. Laura only uses a manual one to prove a point and to be to run the flow she wants at that time. Try it see how you get on.

    Hi @Akj,

Thanks for your response. I have just tried it again from scratch and everything is working as described. Not sure what I was doing wrong previously.
