Hi,

I have a question about SharePoint and 3rd party apps within PowerApps.

If I created an app that all users in the business could access, but then have SharePoint lists that I only want certain users to access, these would be hidden within PowerApps for those users. Would they still be able to use the app other than functionality within the SharePoint list?

Also on a similar topic if I had a 3rd party connector like Adobe Sign, is there any way for users to access the app without an adobe sign license? They wouldn't have access to the screen with the Adobe Sign Connector and therefore it would seem pointless buying a license for a connector they wouldn't be utilising.

Hi There,

If the users do not have access to a certain list, data will not show within the app and if you are using premium connectors it can impact your license for the app.

A suggestion would be to build a separate app housing the adobe sign functionality and when required to access that functionality through your main app you can launch the adobe sign app using params as well to maintain a seamless journey as params can inform the adobe sign app which records etc the end user is currently interacting with prior to launching the adobe sign app.

Instead, since I am using SharePoint list I have run a flow using 'When an item is updated' and using a certain column update to trigger the document to send this way, uses my account instead of other users that don't have a Licence.
