Hi
I have a date select, is there any way to select the date without the need to click on the OK? Thanks
Hi @bbsin ,
No - the date picker has to know you are selecting the date highlighted.

Hi WarrenBelz.
Noted with thanks.
There is an alternative workaround: copying a Date picker which is a modern fluent UI control from PowerApps for Teams and paste it in your App:
It would acts as what you want.
Hope this helps.

HI Jeffer
Thanks will give it a try
Cheers,
Is this a recommended way of copying Fluent UI controls from Teams Power Apps Studio to Canvas based Studio? What is the roadmap for making Fluent UI controls available for regular apps?
Could you please show us how we can copy a fluent UI control from Teams app to canvas app - since i am not able to copy paste. Please note that we can copy control by using Ctrl+C and then pasting it using Ctrl+V - for some weird reason right clicking and selecting copy does not work !
@v-jefferni Could you please answer the question asked by @AvinashK . I think it will be very helpful to have fluent UI controls available in canvas app rather than having to copy paste everytime- is powerapps team planning to add this feature in the near future ? Fluent UI controls are so good especially the date picker 🙂
Thanks !
Hi, I have still no idea how to copy a fluent UI control, starting with the fact that I even don't know where I can find it. Do you have any hint for me?
Thanks!
Hello @masdjp9as8dfz . Go to MS teams and select Powerapps
Once in MS teams powerapps you can add any components that you would like to copy over. Personally i am very found of the fluent UI date control. Once you add a component just copy pasta using Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V for whatever reason if you copy with a right click it doesn't seem to work.
Cheers!
When users in our app manually type in a date the submitted time shows as text in the Sharepoint list date column, but the date is not actually registered. I know this because I have calculated a column that has incorrect data due to the date not being sensed. If I open the SP list for editing, and select the same date that appears in the column and save- then the calculated column updates properly. Is there a formula that would disable the submit button if the "OK" was selected?
Can power apps recognize the date picker "ok" was not selected? How to we help app users understand this?@WarrenBelz
Hi Jeff,
When I paste this into my power app the months are diving into 3rds. I have attached a photo. Do you have any idea why my months are showing differently than yours?
