Hey there,
I was able to create a work flow where the agent request PTO either ( vacation, personal, sick , or in lieu). The request gets sent out for approval and then they get alerted once approved and the calendar updates. But now I'm trying to create a flow that once the agent logs into the SharePoint they can see a running balance of their PTO Balance. Any ideas on how to do it?
Do you keep track of the PTO balance in a sharepoint list or something?
The pitfall here would be permissions and people being able to change their own balance since a flow runs with delegated permissions. However I believe this can be circumvented by giving users only read permissions and having a child flow take care of editing the balances since (i believe) child flows do not use delegated permissions but the permission of the creator.
