Extract info from an internal app automatically

My company has an internal app that wants me to extract the excel files daily automatically. 

The app has an option to "extract" however it is not automatically. Do you know if power automate works with apps that companies create? If yes, how?

    Do you know if there is any tutorial that I should follow in order to do it?

    Yes, it is possible, but you need to develop desktop flow to achieve this. It is not possible using cloud flow.

    That is exactly what I am trying to do! I need to do it daily, automatically at the end of the day. Do you think that is possible?

    If you are looking for downloading the excel file from a button click on an app, then you need to develop Power automate desktop flow.
