Send an email with attachment - attachment is blank

Hi,

I have an approval flow triggered by a new Leave Request Form response with an optional attachment for when staff have medical certificates to upload.

The flow works great - I have variables for date formats, arrays for whether there's an attachment or not, and content for approval and contentbytes for email - it flows smoothly.

However, the attachments to the emails come out blank and I don't know why.

The attachment comes through in the correct format, but the sheet(s) have nothing on them.

    Hi @KatLane

I did test on my side and it can work fine.

My section in "Apply to each" is different from yours, you can refer to the screenshot below.

Thank you @v-LilyW-msft, I also logged this with Power Automate Support and they said the same thing - remove the " " around my content and contentbytes schema and no more issues.  Such a simple fix, but I've been battling with it for days!

Thanks @v-LilyW-msft & @KatLane ! Actually removing the "" around the File Content solved my issue. I have been trying many workarounds for hours now , once the flow fails, and once it works with the attachment corrupted and once it works with the attachment opens but empty !
Finally I removed the "" and now I received an email with the attachment opening with the file content correctly !
