Cascading feature functioning, but not saving t SharePoint

I recently published the cascading feature for a Power Apps form. The drop-down options appear correctly, but the subcategory selection does not save. Please note that these fields are mandatory, and the form is saving as if there is data in the missing fields. The are showing as "required info" on the SharePoint site.

    hey @NikaB007 

     

    check the update property of hat field that is not saved:

    If you are using a Form you need to put DatacardValueX.Selected.Value if its a Dropdown.

     

    you need to replace the X with the Number of that datavardvalue
