Action 'Send_email' failed:

The Mail connector is currently restricted for new tenants. Microsoft is working on enabling this connector. In the meantime, please consider using alternatives like Office 365 Outlook, Gmail, SendGrid connector instead.

This seems to be one of the most basic Power Automate Templates.

I'm trying to complete a class.

Why am I getting this error?

Hi @RobRayborn,

That is because the Mail connector is by default restricted for usage within new tenants.

You can read about that in the documentation of this specific connector:

Hi @RobRayborn,

Just to double check. Did you receive the confirmation email from Microsoft that the subscription has been processed?

And like the error states, you should still be able to use an action like Send an email (V2) action from Office 365 Outlook connector as a workaround.

Manually changing it to 'Send to email (V2)' worked thank you. Microsoft should either fix that template or take it down.
