Solution 1: Handle Excel Instance Properly

The error often occurs due to improper Excel instance management:

Add "Close Excel" action at the end of your flow

Use "Set active Excel worksheet" before each Excel operation

Add "Save Excel" action before closing

Make sure to use same Excel instance variable throughout the flow

Launch Excel → Set Active Worksheet → Read/Write Data → Save Excel → Close Excel

Solution 2: Add Error Handling

Wrap your Excel operations in try-catch blocks:

Add "On block error" action before Excel operations

Set exception handling to continue on error

Add "Clear error flag" action after successful operations

Solution 3: Fix Data Type Issues

Excel merge errors often come from data type mismatches:

Convert data types explicitly before writing to Excel

Use "Convert text to number" for numeric data

Use "Convert text to datetime" for date columns

Handle empty cells with default values

Solution 4: Ensure Proper File Access

Close the target Excel file in Excel application before running flow
