Post approved Sharepoint news in teams channel from communication site

This is my situation. We use a communication sharepoint site to gather all info about the organisation. On this site important news is added for all employees.

When a new page of news post is created there is an approval flow.

I would to post a message in a general teams channel when a new 'newspost' or page has been approved.

I can't find a way to do that. Now I have created something that post a message in a teams channel when a new page has been created. Can't find a way to only do this when the page has been approved.

Please help.

PS It is stupid that the connecter in teams to add a message for each new post only works with a team site and not a communication site...

Hi @Higherdemon,

assuming that there is a Power Automate approval flow in place, you should add the action to post into teams to the "Approved"-branch in Power-Automate.

It doens't fire. Need to follow the flow why the message isn't posted.

you can use the send approvals Power Automate connector in-between your Post a message in Teams and Send a notification add this then you want to use the Send approvals and wait for responses Have a condition under this that is: If approved Post in teams chat If not approved Email Submitter :
