PAD flows not opening after Windows update

Hello, everyone.

Last night my computer forced a Windows update and afterwards I noticed that my PAD flows won't open any more. When I try to edit a flow, the flow will pop in a new window, but this window never loads. It's like it is stuck loading the window or something (picture attached).

I don't have this problem on my other computer, so I am assuming this problem is due to the Windows update. I don't currently have access to the machine runtime troubleshoot settings, but I am using PAD version 2.27.177.22340 and Windows 11 version 21H2. I can provide troubleshooting logs when I connect with our IT department on Monday.

I have a huge presentation coming up about implementing PAD and this problem is severely impacting my ability to create the presentation. I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem or knows a solution? Just a few weeks ago I was having problems with the PA web browser plugins, so it is very frustrating to be encountering yet another issue. I've been using PAD for months and it seems in the last month every new Windows update creates a new problem.

Please help if you have any ideas.

Since your issue may be related to a Windows update and you also had web browser plugin issues you might try the solution (it's actually a work-around not a solution) that worked when web browser automation actions stopped working after a Windows update.

That work-around uses the MSI installer for PAD instead of the Microsoft Store installer?  Since you are under a deadline, you might try that if you have not already.

Here's a link to the post with the sequence of actions that worked to restore web browser automation actions using the MSI installer [ https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/Unable-to-take-browser-control-after-removing-legacy-browser/m-p/1940036/highlight/true#M112869 ]

@Laish_Glenberg  @waynewalls  This has literally just started to happen to me too (it was fine yesterday).

I'm also on a deadline to complete a flow in PAD, I've already had to start again once because of a PAD bug.

    I'm tired of this.

@waynewalls  I tried the MSI installer - same issue, however @Laish_Glenberg  if I use PAD from the Windows store instead, it works as expected.

Having the same problem tried both PAD with the msi installer & from the microsoft store but still the flows can't be opened, the only thing i did is to share them & give the permissions to other user & work on the from another machine.

    Experiencing the same issue.

Unable to edit any flows nor create new ones. All it does is open a new, blank window.

I’ve tried restarting PAD, restarting PC, re-installing PAD via MS Store, re-installing PAD via MSI link, making duplicates of flows, signing out & in again… nothing works.

A major issue as I can not utilize PAD whatsoever now and I use it on a daily basis for my job.

Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated!
