How to read Chinese Characters in PAD, do we have to make any special settings? My system can identify them, but when try to display it in message box in PAD it gives ??? for those Chinese characters

Hi,

This is most likely the root cause. Give it a shot.

Steps for Windows:

Go to Control Panel > Region > Administrative Tab.

Under "Language for non-Unicode programs," click Change system locale.

Select Chinese (Simplified, China) or Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan), depending on your requirement.

Restart your computer.

This ensures Windows supports Chinese characters when running applications that don't explicitly handle Unicode.
