I need to generate a QR code with transparent background. Does anyone know if this is possible to achieve either using free connectors or paid ones?

Another option is https://goqr.me/api. They're based out of Germany and meet GDPR requirements. You can get more information at https://goqr.me. If you use the one from Google, you will see that it is being deprecated.
