Approval Flow "Succeeding" But not working

Hello!

I have a flow that takes the responses from a microsoft form. Based on the person"s response to "Department" a switch should send the approval to a specific group. When I submit the form my flow is "succeeding" within a few seconds but no approval is ever sent to either the approvals list in Microsoft or via email.

If anyone has a solution to this please let me know!

    Hi @Anonymous

Can you share your flow so far, albeit this might help. I think it would be worth you inserting a compose step for debugging your solution as you want to see the dynamic field output that you are comparing in the condition.  It sounds like you expect it to equal something and it is not, hence why it always goes down the NO route.  You'll see this in the history of the run.  Inserting the compose will allow you to see that all important value and then correct your condition.

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
    Cheers,
    Damien

    Hello!

I was able to figure it out, when I submitted a response on one form I then was pulling the results of a different form of the same name which did not have the department field. It read the department field as blank ended the flow "successfully". I changed the name of the form and double checked I have the correct form in pull responses field and all is well now!
