Patch Clone Command Not Working in Model Driven App

Hello, I am trying to build a very simple patch function to clone a record. It successfully runs (no errors) but nothing actually happens. No record is cloned to the table. I'd appreciate any ideas on why this is not working. Here is my formula:

 

Patch(
    Permits,
    Defaults(Permits),
    {
        'Permit Number':Self.Selected.Item.'Permit Number' & " - CLONE"
    }
)

    Hey @mikkey206 

     

    Click the stethescope in the top right of the Power Apps studio, and open the monitor session, then click the button to provide this action, and have a look at the Patch request and response, it will give you some more info.
