Hi,

I'm trying to automate the creation of a Panner plan along with the creation of a SharePoint site. I can create the site, but cannot create a plan. The 'create a plan' action seems to be missing. I asked CoPilot, and it said to use it. I checked and it wasn't there. I asked CoPilot again, and it said to register the app in Azure while waving Harry Potter's magic wand.

Does anyone know why 'create a plan' is missing? I really do not want to do this Azure workaround just because this action is missing from Planner. Any other ideas to keep this simple, and stay inside Power Automate while using JSON sprinkles?

Hi Ben,

It looks like there are no actions for creating a new Plan in Planner, according to the connector documentation. There is an idea in the community for this action, but it has been there for over 7 years now (you can upvote to it here).

Having said that, it looks like the only way to create a new Plan in Planner is by using Graph API, which may require an App Registration in Azure. You can find the documentation for the "create a plan" API endpoint here.
