Your flow was updated, but it is currently suspended since it uses a combination of connectors that conflict with the company data loss prevention policies or billing restrictions.

I'm trying to do a simple flow, and am getting the error listed in the subject line.

So I went and checked the DLP, (since I'm the company's global admin), and found that the one connector listed is in the DLP:

So it doesn't appear to be a DLP issue.  So I've been going through the License section trying to find anything in there that would be an issue.  I'm currently listed as having an E3, and I have the Free Flow license.  I'm not sure what other license issues could affect this.

Any suggestions?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As the pic shown, the SharePoint connector is in the Bussiness data only list.

So it is a DLP issue. The SharePoint can't use with other connectors in the flow.

You need delete the the Data policies in the Admin center.

Just to be clear, you did see on my screenshot where the only other 'connector' in this flow was the "condition" statement?  The Condition statement from what I can see is not a connector, and it definitely isn't in the Non-Business Data section, so I can't see how having the Sharepoint Connector in Business Data would be a problem.

Also there's no way I'm going to delete the DLP policy that casually.  Nor am I going to put Sharepoint into the Non-Business group where any of our 3,500 users could set up Flows between Sharepoint and Twitter or Facebook or wherever.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

I have made a same flow of yours on my side. when I added the 'SharePoint' in the 'Business Data only', the same issue occured to me. So I am sure it's a DLP issue. Because you have used the SharePoint data in the 'notification' connector.

I suggest you delete the data policy for a try.

To make sure this is a DLP issue, I made another test, when I just use the 'SharePoint' in the flow, the flow works will.

The step of deleting the Data policy is: Admin center>>Data policies

Then choose the Policy you want to delete.

I can't just delete a DLP without going through the company's change approval process.  If I did I'd get fired, and rightfully so.

I still can't understand how a simple workflow like this is running afoul of the DLP.  All it is is this:

    image.png

And just so I can clarify this, as long as I have a DLP, NONE of the following apps can use a simple notification?

    image.png

What is the good of DLP if you can split things up between actual business apps and non business apps?  What good is flow if you can't do a simple thing like having a email sent when you have a new item upload just because you have a VERY BASIC DLP.

    Here is the DLP:

    image.png

Then when you click on it you get:

    image.png

And then you get the picture above of what's in business data vs non-business data.  No where in the non-bd area does the Notifications Icon appear.  Why would this flow care about the DLP if there is nothing in the non-bd area that appears in the flow?

I'm sorry if I'm getting short about this.  It's just there is no way I can disable the DLP, and if we can't do a basic flow like this with the DLP then FLow is definitely not ready for prime time in an enterprise setting.
