Open a PDF document

Hi All

I am trying to create a flow for getting an approval for a PDF document. I could give the file path in the approval item link. But the issue is the document is opening in Microsoft edge which does not have the certificate tool or digital sign off tools.

Is there anyway of opening the document in Adobe PDF ? i.e. if I map the share point to my local drive and using a string to create this path and then send this string as the item link?

Any help on this would be highly appreciated

Thanks and regards

Sooraj

    Hi @Sooraj22

I wonder what action you are using for this approval, but if you need a signature try using actions from the Adobe Sign connector, in this link you can see more info on how to use the connector.

You can also try changing the default app for opening PDF files.

    Cheers.

    Hello

    Thank you for the reply.

I am using the flow to create approval request to 5 different department about a document release which is in pdf format. Once all the 5 departments signed the document, the document will release for training the manufacturing team members. I tried to use the Adobe sign. But for some reason the flow is not establishing a connection with the same.

    Thanks and regards

Yes the problem could be some of the third-party connectors require you to have an account with them.

I think another way is using approvals and attach the link to the pdf file you want them to sign.

    Hope this helps you.

    Cheers.

    Hello

    Thank you for the reply.

Does attaching the link in approvals open the document in browser by default?

    Thanks and regards
