I tried to download data from a website in Chrome. However, I got the error that downloads from this browser are not possible. Why does Power Automate Desktop offer the feature to open a Chrome Browser, but doesn't let me download files?
As far as I know, the Click download link on web page action only works in Internet Explorer. You should still be able to Click link on web page to trigger the download, or even Download from web using the URL to the file.
I can think of several possibilities. First is - can you do the download by hand in that browser? If no, the browser may be configured to not allow downloads, or maybe your network guys have a policy in place to prevent downloads. If yes, then the next question is what happens when you click the download link? Does it automatically download to a predefined directory, or does it ask first? Each browser handles this stuff differently, and I've seen web sites that make you jump through hoops to finally get the download.
