Slow drop down selection

Hello everybody!

I am having problems with a desktop flow. The flow does exactly what it is supposed to do, but it is incredibly slow in selecting a drop-down option after the drop-down has been displayed by right-clicking on the pane.
Is there a trick here to get the whole thing to work faster, or is that just the way it is unfortunately?

Many thanks in advance!
Max

Hi Max, what means incredible slow? 30 seconds/minutes? Often it‘s a time-out of an selector which is handled to continue with the flow nevertheless.

Can you share some details of the involved flow actions and error handling?

Hello Gidi, thank you for your reply. The step in the flow needs 15-20 seconds to react.
For simplicity, i recorded the flow with the PA-window visible. If i can provide any more information let me know.

Thanks, but the video seems not to be available to me. Can you share screenshots from the flow actions you use?

Hey Gidi, sorry for that. I tried uploading it to drive. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dqfV4XXDrtDZGrETS2l11YvEK6_tNLmF/view?usp=sharing

Alternatively i made a screenshot. (In contrary to the vid, i braught all actions up to the main flow)Screenshot 2022-07-25 121230.pngScreenshot 2022-07-21 134200.png

The flow has its hiccup at step 9. Since i did not see an option to set the whole thing to english, i hope the screenshot is understandable anyways.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Max,

it seems that there is no obvious reason for any slow reaction, if the application is as fast as used manually.

I noticed in the 2.23 release notes that they talked about drop down performance; maybe it'll help you out! https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/released-versions/power-automate-desktop/2208.1
