I've created a Word Template.

I am using Power Automate to populate text in the template.

There is a need to add pictures, either throughout or in an appendix.

I have found the Word Picture control. Can I use this control, with Power Automate,
to dynamically add a picture(s) to the template?

Is there a picture gallery control in Word that would allow for multiple pictures?

The last I looked you could not do galleries of photos in a Word template. If you have a set number of photos, then you can do it as below. If you have a variable number of photos to add based on a variable number of records a Word template will not work.

I did it with an HTML document and then converted the HTML to PDF using Encodian. You can use the OneDrive connector to convert the HTML to PDF but will be limited to 10 GB. Depending on image size that may or may not be a problem. For me it would be a problem. Also, the HTML to PDF for OneDrive Connector is limited, so if you want to do anything fancy with your HTML you will be better off with Encodian.

I am using ChatGPT or CoPilot to do the HTML for me these days.
