Search() is not delgatable in SharePoint List according to this:
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/delegation-list/

That means that your App is taking first 500 records from SharePoint list and applying Search to them. Records after first 500 are not considered and not returned.

Filter the records first if you can before you search them. Without knowing what you are trying to search it's difficult to give a suggestion

I'm having the same issue. Pulling in a list from SharePoint online into power app. Searching by last name (title) does not work at all. Please fix, otherwise powerapps is unusable for our firm. We must have search working for powerapps that pull data from SharePoint online list.

Hi,

I have the same problem.

A simple search or filter in a data table from a microsoft list with a simple text input...the result...No Data to Display 😔

Please solve this problem. Power apps could very very good tool.
