Attachment control error on view item without any attachment

I have a canvas app based on a sharepoint list, attachments are enabled for this list however if i open an item on a view form, if that item does not have an attachment then i get the below screenshot error, if there is an attachment on the list item it will not throw any error.

I created a new view form and just connected it to the list and immediately got the error.  I don't believe this issue occurred before last week.

    Hi @CiaranCampbell ,

    That error is not normal behaviour - have you tried recreating the entire Form ?

    Thanks @WarrenBelz

    Yes, as a test I create a blank app and just added a view form from my list, and immediately got the same error.  To get around it I just added the below in the "default" for the attachment field, its working ok now.

    If(ThisItem.'Has attachments', ThisItem.Attachments)

    @CiaranCampbell ,

    That is not normal behaviour to require that (and I have never needed to do it) - the attachment control should simply be empty if there are no attachments,

    Agree @WarrenBelz , however its not my first time finding an issue that I can easily replicate but only for one specific list, for all my other lists the attachment control works without issue.  I have previously spent hours with a MS rep to replicate and diagnose an issue but never get a fix, so if I can create my own workaround to resolve the issue, I'll just do that and move on, thank you for your help on this.

    Had same problem about a month ago, and i used similar workaround to go around it. not sure why this error happens all of sudden
