Replace rows in an existing file

I have a flow that is triggered by an excel file being moved to folder. This happens weekly and after the flow runs the new file is deleted. I want to take the rows in the new file and write them to an existing excel file. (replacing the existing rows). I cannot just overwrite the file because it is linked to a PowerBI data model.

I cannot use the file as shown above because every week the new file has a different correlation ID. I cannot set it up and change to the identifier, it won't let me save it because the table has not yet been created until the flow runs

Any thoughts on how to make this work?

It would be a lot easier if you just create a new spreadsheet each week. This YouTube tutorial will show you how: https://youtu.be/RB_ySjhm9Sg?si=jShDEDVybK5PvZ8a. I have done this a number of times, and it works very well.

I can't create a new spreadsheet every week. My PowerBI data model is connected to the existing file.

I am confused. Why did you say, "every week the new file has a different correlation ID" if you are not creating a new file? If you are not creating a new file, I am lost on what the issue is then since you said the issue is due to creating a new file.

    Does this help explain?
When I use list rows present in a table on the new file. I cannot get the file by file name because the file/table does not exist yet and that step actually uses a correlation ID which changes everytime.

Change your Power Query to fetch the newest file in a (sharepoint) folder. That way you even have a nice change history for free.
