Assign Item level permissions to items in Document Library

Hello,

I have multiple document libraries containing Word and PDf confidential documents which I would like to set item level permissions for, so that only the respective user can see their document. Is there a way to easily automate this process? Thanks for any guidance.

Take a look at the SharePoint item level permissions feature- go to list settings/Advanced. Give it a try - no Flow required:

Hello @ScottShearer - thanks for your feedback. However its document libraries and not custom lists. I have several documents in the libraries whereby each user should only be able to access their document and not see others. Also, they are not the creators of the document. The documents were uploaded to the libraries and the requirement is to set the respective permission per document so only the user can access the one with their info. in it. Thanks.
