Teams "When a new chat message is added" trigger stop working eventually

I am trying to make a flow which triggers when a new chat message is posted to a group chat.  The flow works initially, but eventually stops triggering when new chat messages are posted.  It seems like maybe after 1 or 2  hours.   

 

My flow is extremely basic, just trigger "When a new chat message is added" with no other settings.

 

I've noticed in the output of a successful run, the output message contains: "subscriptionExpirationDateTime": "xx" and a date/time which seems to be 1 hour from when I initially started the flow.

    I used "When keywords are mentioned" trigger instead and it works much more reliably.

    This trigger forces you to specify the conversation IDs to listen to. Whereas "When a new chat message is added" covers all messages.

    Yes.  It happens to work in my case since I was interested in a specific conversation.

    I have the same issue. How can I solve this problem?

    I never found a solution.  The "When keywords are mentioned" trigger works much more reliably and works in my use-case since I'm only interested in one chat.  I just put a bunch of single letters as my keywords and I pick up every message.  I think in the documentation it stated that even the meta-data of the message was searched for the keywords so probably something like a colon or something would always be in every message however I haven't spent any time investigating.

    Thank you for your information. If the message contains only letters, numbers, colons, or other symbols, I could use "When keywords are mentioned." However, in my case, it is difficult to use this trigger because I use not only English but also Japanese. If this problem is due to a bug, I hope it will be resolved soon. If not, I would like to know the solution. I wonder where to ask...

    My *guess* is that if you put "0", "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6", "7", "8", "9" as the keywords, then you would get every single message, even in Japanese (because of the meta-data).  Just a guess though.  Test it out though, I am curious to know.

    on this page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/teams/   it says "When keywords are mentioned trigger fires for all data related to a message. This includes the sender of the message and the text that includes the time the message was sent."  So I think adding each possible digit as a keyword would work.

    Thanks for investigation! That is very useful information. It does work even in Japanese!

    But as you mentioned before, that is useful for only a specific conversation and does not cover all conversations.

     

    I found the solution for this problem in my case.

    1. Create a "Scheduled cloud flow" and set the interval for 1 hour. 

    2. Add "Power Automate Management" action and select "Turn Off Flow".

    3. Add "Power Automate Management" action and select "Turn On Flow".
