Opening multiple folders

I want to process multiple sequentially numbered folders through software that requires loads of routine button pushes, I've recorded actions which works for folder 1 but how can I automate opening folder 2,3,....?

The routine within the processing software is:

1 open C/specific_folder

2 open sub-folder arbitrary_name2022.05.01_001

3 press ui button ‘process’ (that also creates new_folder in sub-folder)

4 open Windows Explorer to C/specific_folder

5 move file always01.same from C/specific_folder to arbitrary_name2022.05.01_001/…../new_folder

6 within processing software press ui button ‘process2’

7 open C/specific_folder

8 open sub-folder maybe-diff2022.05.01_002

9 press ui button ‘process’ (that also creates new_folder in sub-folder)

10 open Windows Explorer to C/specific_folder

11 move file always02.same from C/specific_folder to maybe-diff2022.05.01_002/…../new_folder

12 within processing software press ui button ‘process2’

14………

there's lots more processing steps but it's just variations on the above

and i'm currently using PAD trial version

    Hello @RiiG

Add some first actions to list all folders, and sort folders by name.

Then loop through each listed folder and inside the loop do your steps.

    Kind regards, John

if only I knew this a week ago!!

if only it was a simple as initially thought

I made my process work with mouse clicks on UI elements controlled by LoopIndex (i think!

does PAD actually have to click an element or it there another way to control them more directly?
