Problem Matching Dates in an OData query

My issue is that even though I'm trying to eliminate the items with the date of 05/01/2021 from my SharePoint list (date and time field not showing time), it is still pulling those dates as show in my compose Select.  Any idea? Thanks so much for your help.

    Hello @CindyZ

You have a condition that returns true if the date is not equal 2021-05-01 OR not equal null. And of course this date is not equal null and so it returns true. So the OR is the problem in your filter.

Correct. Replace the OR with AND, then you are fine

@Mglat  and @Matthy79   Thanks to both of your for your input.

That change did not work.  I'm still getting the 2021-05-21. So, I stripped everything else out and then tried "lt" -- that did not return anything.  But, when I try to use EITHER "gt" or "ne", I'm still pulling the 2021-05-21.  Any other thoughts?

Might it be that you are not comparing dates, but strings?

@Mglat Could be.  Below is what my SharePoint column looks like and I'm not converting it anywhere.  Can you provide me more guidance?   Thanks!
