Any way to post an Announcement to Viva Engage from Power Automate? The community Announcement has added feature that all communicty members are notified by email regardless of their personal notification settings.
Or gather the community users' emails and send them a notification from Power Automate. I have not found a way to access this data from PA.
I haven't found any mention of these ideas in my searches. If anyone has ideas, please share. Thanks
Yes, just use the Viva Engage Post message (V2) action:
Notifications to users are controlled by their account settings in Viva Engage. You just need to post the message and Viva Engage will handle sending the notifications if the user has them enabled (at the bottom would be all the groups the person has joined with check boxes to send a notification when a new message is posted:
Otherwise, you would need to use the List group members action to get the members of the group and send them an e-mail that way. You will need to have the appropriate permissions in Entra ID to search groups and you'll need to know the GUID ID of the group.
