Hi

I am new to this with no coding experience.

When I receive a new email with pdf attachment . I want to Recognize text in an image or a PDF document.

Extract information from invoices. Then rename the attachment to the invoice number and then save it to share point file.

I have used chat gpt and bard to help me with ,with no success.

The part I am stuck is renaming the file as the only options I have is Move or rename file. which i cant get to work.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Thanks

    Hi @JohnTerry ,

Agree, ChatGPT and Bard will be absolutely no help in this task.  There's a great template already provided for you in PowerAutomate and I encourage you to check it out.  I just checked and the last time I trained this was 3 years ago but remember is processes invoices like a true champ!

Go to templates, search for invoices and then work through the template and example.  Use it as described, get familiar with it, and then consider modifying for your project.  If this was helps, please mark as a solution and I will be glad to help you! 😁

I could not get it to do what I wanted. I tried to use some of the information from the reply but did not get it to work. I am still trying.
