Copy file from Teams url to SharePoint folder

Hello

i am trying to create a flow in power apps that gets file url from teams channel and then copy this file to SharePoint Folder.

i have a Teams Channel that i upload files

user gets link by copy link

Then i have a SharePoint list with power app that user enters the url in field

sharepoint form.jpg what i am trying to do is to get that file from the URL(Teams) and upload it to share-point folder.

Any ideas?

Hi @andreas_TR
Each Team has its own SharePoint site, the files in Team channel are actually saved in Document Library of Sharepoint site.
If you want to copy this file to SharePoint Folder, please try this:
1. Use 'Get file content using path' action to get the file content
2. Use 'Create file' action to save that file to SharePoint folder

the main problem is that i want to take the url of the file from the SharePoint form that user enter the url
so in get file content using path is any way to automaticaly get the url from the url field in SharePoint Form ?

Hi @andreas_TR ,

Sorry for my misunderstanding, do you mean you want to get the file link, right?
I think you use 'Get file metadata using path' action to get the file item ID and use 'Create sharing link for a file or folder' action to get the file link. In the end, add a 'Respond to a PowerApp or flow' action to return the Sharing Link back to PowerApps.

i want to copy the file in another folder from the url(teams url) that user enters when submitting the SharePoint form (url=SharePoint field)

Hi @andreas_TR ,

To save the file to another SharePoint library, you can try the flow I mentioned in the first post.
Get the FileContent by path, then create a new file in another SharePoint library.
