UI Element with regexp ?!

Hello World

I have a flow where I identify a value on a webpage, if present then I send a double-click on that value.

Example:
First
Second
ABC
Blue
Green

I'm loking for ABC, I found it and so on.

BUT

How do I get/catch another value, which in my case has the string 'ABC' inside it ?

Example:
Red
Green
Blue
Black
And here is ABC in this string
White

I would like to get/catch 'And here is ABC in this string" also.

The "key" value is 'ABC'

Any advice?
I have the same question (0)

Have the UI element that you use to double click the element to have Operator Contains rather than Equals to. Then it should also be able to find the "And here is ABC in this string"

Or if it really needs to be regular expression then try the Regular expression match

Since there might be more than one element with the ABC then I assume you want to click through all of them(?)
Then use the Ordinal which tells the UI selector if there is multiple of them then which one to choose (0 = the first one, 1 = the second one, etc).

There is still a bug in PADs UI selector that if you want to use variable in Ordinal attribute then you need to toggle on Text editor and put the variable there in the Text editor mode:

Then save the Selector and try the flow.

Do share screenshot of the flow part where the issue is if there is still some problems.

    Hi,

    1) First you can use the action if web page contains then use click link on web page and pass the value in the selector using variable.

    2) Directly pass the variable in the selector use contains as eetoRobo mentioned.

If I have answered your question, please mark it as the preferred solution. If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.
    Regards,
    Riyaz
