Server errors... Is this due to Concurrent() issues??? "New" setting... "More Reliable Concurrent Function"

I have some pretty buzy Concurrent() statements that are pulling data from SQL through my on-prem gateway.  Some of these are in a OnVisible control.  I got a few of these errors when going to that screen.

I found what appeared to be a "New" advanced app setting:  "More Reliable Concurrent Function"

I'm generally careful with these, because I'm never sure quite what to expect.  However, in switching this option "on", the errors when navigating to this screen seem to have been eliminated.  Is this expected?  Is there anything else I need to be aware of for this option?

    Hi @martinav ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Based on the error message that you mentioned, I think there is something wrong with the connection you created to SQL Table data source from your app.

The user @ankitadasgupta has faced similar issue with yout, please check my response within the following thread:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Message-is-Server-error-Server-response-Not-a-valid-connector/td-p/243267

In addition, please also consider take a try to disable/turn off the "Explicit column selection" option within Advanced settings of App settings of your app, re-publish your app.

Actually, the "More reliable Concurrent function" preview feature is used to avoid race condition, and ensure reliable operation -- we are now blocking functions that can change the screen or exit the app from being used with Concurrent function.

Currently, within PowerApps, there is no detail document mentioned about the limits/issues of this preview feature. If you want to get further help in this issue, please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:

I'm not sure, but I only got this error once.  I have not seen it again.  I'll hold fast for now.
