Subgrid showing "No Data Available" even when related rows available

I have two forms with subgrids but only one form works as I would expect.

The form for one table and its related rows works as I would expect: The subgrid displays the related rows from the other, related table when I select the "Show Related Rows" option on the subgrid and play the app.

The subgrid on the form for my other table with its related rows does not work as I would expect. If I add the subgrid to the form and don't check "Show Related Rows," the subgrrid shows all the rows in the related table when I play this app; As soon as I check the "Show Related Rows" option, however, the subgrid shows "No Data Available" when I play the app. Potentially related "feature": While I can set the table for the subgrid when I add the subgrid, I have to reselect the table when I check "Show Related Rows."

Looking at the data, I would say that the rows in both sets of tables were related in exactly the same way: In both tables, I have a lookup column in the table on the many side (and in the rows, I have that row set to a value in the "one" table); the 1:N relationship generated by creating the lookup column looks the same in both tables.

The only wrinkle is that I am loading these tables by importing data. I use a Power Automate flow that runs as rows are added on the "many" side to find the matching rows and I use the Relate Rows action to create the relationship. The flows are virtually identical for both tables (only the table and column names change from one flow to another). And, as I say, when I look at the data in both sets of data it sure looks like the lookup columns in the table on the "many" side are set to values from from the table on the "one" side -- but only one appears to actually work when I try to use the relationship in an app.

And suggestions? Right now, I suspect a problem with the Power Automate "Relate Rows" action. If I open my table on the "many" side and edit a row to create the relationship using the lookup table, the row does appear in the subgrid when I run my app. However, the rows that were related in the flow using the "Relate Rows" action do not...though both sets of rows (created "by hand" and created "by flow") look identical. Obviously, they are not but I can't figure out how or why.
