I am trying to "register" my machine by "Power Automate machine runtime" app, but it hangs up saying "Getting your machine settings" every time. This is an Azure VM. It works fine otherwise, like running a Desk Flow, interacting with a SharePoint, browsing outside websites, etc. When I checked the system event log, there were six identical errors: "A Task's exception(s) were not observed either by Waiting on the Task or accessing its Exception property....".
@K43876, we are also having this behavior, albeit in an on-prem vSphere VM. Did you ever resolve this?
