Condition action no longer works

Hi,

I have a Power Automate flow and within the flow there is a Condition action which checks if a boolean variable is true.

When I run the flow I receive the error:

The input parameter(s) of operation 'Condition_-_check_Test_Mode' contains invalid expression(s). Fix invalid expression(s) for the input parameter(s) of operation 'Condition_-_check_Test_Mode'.

I have tried just typing true for the value to check against and receive the same error message,

This did used to work OK, and works in other flows that I have created.

Anyone got any ideas?

Pete

    Good Morning,

For this error we would definitely need to see the value of Test Mode in a compose or the outcome of the setting or initialization of the value.

I recreated your system as such:

And I used this for the condition and it was evaluated as true using your logic and test.

In my opinion that means that whatever your conditional logic is producing isn't correct or there is a character after your fxTrue statement.

    Second review with new designer:
Still unable to recreate your error.

My suggestion check and ensure the type of Test Mode is boolean ->
ensure you are assigning it a correctly typed value with no trailing or leading spaces ->
delete the extra row on your condition ->
Remake the condition statement with the same values retrying your statically type true vs variable

If none of these work I will need more information to be able to help.

    Hi Pete

Could you remove the current condition and add it again? Did you renamed the variable?

    Thanks

Thanks to both of you ( and ).

The only way that I was able to get this to work was to create a new flow and copy the actions (manually, not copy and paste) form the original flow into the new flow.  The values in the new flow are exactly the same as the old flow, but now do what is needed.

I do have another problem now when I try to test the flow.  I receive the error:

but the connection 'shared_office365_1' is entered by the Power Automate system and cannot be edited.  So, I'm not too sure about this yet!

Hey @petewalburn The error mentioned your The error means the flow is referencing an invalid or broken "Office 365 connection". This often happens after recreating or modifying flows. Try to select the correct connection.

    1.  Re-authenticating the Office 365 connection under Data → Connections
    2.  Rebinding the connection in each Office 365 action (or re-adding the action)
    3.  Saving the flow, then turning it off and back on
