I have a Flow configured with a service account. The Flow is based on a manual trigger. I would like to provide a user with the ability to run the Flow. The Flow performs activity on a specific list. Despite assigning run as permissions for the user, they do not have the ability to manually trigger the flow within flow.microsoft.com or the list. How do I configure the user to trigger the flow within a browser? Thanks.
Sorry - I misunderstood your question. If this is a Flow that starts with a Button, the only way a user to whom you have granted run-only permissions will be able to run the Flow is from a button on their phone or other mobile device. If it were a for a selected item Flow, it could be run from the browser when an item is selected.
If you want the user to run it from their browser, you could add them as an owner - they would see it under "Shared with me". Another alternative is to export the Flow or use the "Send a copy" feature. If you do that, the user can import the Flow and supply their own connection information.
I guess my question is... how does a user configured with Run rights for a Flow, trigger a Flow that starts with a manual trigger. The user CAN see the button in the Mobile Automate app, but where do they find the button in a browser. How do they launch a manual triggered flow?
Can you post a screen shot showing their permissions for the Flow and for the list?
Also, when you say that they cannot trigger the Flow, do you mean that they can't see the Flow to start it in the list?
They do.
The user will require a minimum of contribute access to the list - does the user have aceess equal to Contribute or higher?
