Connect via Power Automate to Business Central with a Service Principal

Hallo,

I am trying to setup a connection between Power Automate flows and Business Central via Service Principal. The app registration and permissions have been configured properly on the business central side. I am getting lost when I try to build a connection with Business Central out of Power Automate.

During the Flow Creation when I want to add a new connection I can only sign in with a user account; not register it with the service principal.

What am I missing here?

I don't have an answer for your issue. I just wanted to let you know that you posted an image with your e-mail address and name. You may want to upload a new image and mask these in the image as nobody needs this information to assist you. In the current environment of phishing attacks, the less people who have your e-mail address the better.

I've never done what you are trying to attempt, but maybe these resources will help you: Support for service principal owned flows - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn or Create a connection with a service principal - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn. If you at least confirm these resources are what you are trying to attempt, that will help someone who knows how to assist.
