Set required to true or false on check in CheckBox

Hi not sure what is the correct approach to set the Required to true or false from a datacard from a checkbox onCheck.

I initialize a variable with true boolean when checkbox is on OnCheck

and set the Datacard 'required' to true whenever the checkBox is Checked else false.

Right now your oncheck is comparing the varSuccess to true, I think you meant to write

Set(varSuccess, true)

to actually modify the value of the variable.

Thanks @shoog , I just call the object instead updating the variable.
change to this in required from the datacard

if(chkadd.value = true, true)
