Can not send email through Flow

We have a nomination form in SharePoint with Nomination list which we are trying to improve using MS Flow.

Whenever, an item in created in the lists, we want an email to  be sent out to Nominee and the Nominator respectively.

However, When the nomination is done by admin (User with which data is connected to ) it works and send emails to the users and admin respectively.

When user try to fill the form it works but does not send the email out neither to the Nominee nor User

So far, Microsoft does not support this feature- May be Lack of my knowledge

A Very Crude Resolution to my problem:

I had to use shared mailbox where all users have send as access.

Kindly advise to improve the resolution.

    Thanks

    Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing the detailed information.

I made a similar flow to test this issue. I found that when I added “Created” in front of the dynamic content Created By email in the From field, the flow would be failed with the error 403.

While if I just add the dynamic content Created by email in the From field, it will succeed.

The From field of the send email action means that “the email send on behalf of”, so only an email address would be detected.

    Please try again with it.

    Best regards,

    Mabel Mao

    Mohsin -

DId you add your Run-Only users? The way I understand it, I have to add people who I want to be able to run my flows to this list. It is the main Flow info page:

This is probably why the Flow works for the Admin (Owner) but nobody else.

    Hi again

to my surprise i am not able to see the Widget for Manage Run Only Users. I was able to find the Owners Widget and add more users to the owners list but could not see any option for Run Only Users. 😞
