Flow works in test mode but not in normal mode when triggered

I have two flows set-up, one uploads a file in sharepoint from onedrive and the next sends a custom e-mail when that file is uploaded in the sharepoint. It works for myself, but when I tried to set it up for my colleague, it only works when we test it but it doesn't work when they put a file in the folder to trigger both flows. They aren't failing, they just aren't running at all. What's wrong?

    Hi @michig,

Could you please share full screenshot of the flow you configured for your colleague?

I afraid that you created the flow with wrong trigger.

Do you want to create two flows, one is to upload files to SharePoint when new file created in OneDrive, and the other is to send email notifications when new files are created in SharePoint.

I have made a test on my side and the flow works well.

When I put a file to OneDrive folder(not test mode), the flow works successfully as below:

Please check that the connection you configured for your colleague is correct and that the file is placed in the correct folder.

Please let me know if the issue still exists.

    Best Regards,

    Barry

    Thanks for the response!

I just had them try it out and again it still doesn't seem to work.

Flow #2 I am pretty sure works if this first one would work. I just don't understand because mine works perfectly fine and I set their's up the exact same way....It also works when I test, but not when he puts something in the folder...

    Hi @michig,

I did the test later, this time the folder is not the root, but still don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Please check if the status of your file has been uploaded successfully. If not, the flow cannot be triggered normally.

Have the same problem on a few and it has nothing to do with the trigger. If you go over and click test (even after the change is done it will often work then). I think it has something to do with a timing issue.

Unforturnatly I have not figured out the answer yet but I will say this. Usually if I leave it alone for a while it catches up. Sometimes I do my action and then just do something else and go back and it will work and sometimes it just randomly will be working the next day. I know it isn't a good answer but if you feel you did it right and you verify your trigger is actually being done check it the next day.

Hopefully they get this resolved soon.

I am having nearly the same issue. It works in test mode only. The flow doesn't run when a file is created and added to OneDrive on it's on. Only if I run a test by adding a file myself or using OneDrive data to test the flow.

I haven't seen a response to this. I don't have time to work with support.... last time I did they took up hours of my work day. I will at some point but was hoping to see the resolution posted !
