Hello guys,

I'am trying to retreive the mail of the person that put a file in a folder in my onedrive, in a post I found "created by Email" but Ican't find it in the flows...

Thx in advance.

Hi @MohamedAYACH

You only have the "Last Modified By" if you fetch the file's metadata.

As a workaround, you can create a simple flow that triggers once a file is added and save this value and the file's name to a SharePoint list for example.

@MohamedAYACH as all the users are presumably in your organisation, you could add an Office 365 Users action of Get user profile (v2) and select the Created By Email. Then you'd use that later in your flow if you needed to.

Hello,

I found a workaround (with a small flaw*) that worked

* the flow is that am searching the lsit of users that have the same name it happens that there are no two names alike in my company for teh time being, otherwise the email will be sent to all those with the same name.
