Hi all,

I would like to update a file that located on Sharepoint 2010. Sharepoint update function was not able to detect this older version of sharepoint. Is there anyway to do this on power automate?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, No.  The only way to connect to an On-premises server is by using an On-premises gateway.  Use of that gateway requires the premium license.

    Hi @Pstork1

Thank you very much for the workaround. Is there anyway that I can do without subscribing to the premium license and optimizing free license?

    Thanks and regards

For SharePoint 2016 you won't need to use a custom connector or REST calls. You will need an on-premises gateway.  That will require a Premium license.  Here's an article that walks through how to connect to SharePoint on-premises.

    Hi @Pstork1

Really appreciate your response! I just found out that its Sharepoint server 2016 with custom link e.g abc.abcompany.com. Would http REST or custom connector work? Do you have any resource for me to refer for implementation. Today is my day 1 using Power Automate 😁

    Thanks and regards.

The SharePoint connector won't work with SharePoint 2010.  You would need to use a custom connector or an HTTP REST action to work with SharePoint 2010.
