Add and send flow

Hello everyone,

I am creating a flow, I created from sharepoint list, basically when an item is added in SP list, an email should be sent to a certain user

the problem is, I dont know how to change the "get my profile v2" behavior, so it grabs de username where the email should be sent from

also, the "mail value" in the destinatary field grabs the information from the previous connector and the "get my profile v2" should grab the username who sends the email and not the destinatary.

I'll appreciate your assistance, thank youseb arg.JPG

@Hi @Anonymous you don't want Get my profile (V2), you need the Office 365 users Get user profile (V2) and the Search for users (V2). If the email always goes to the same person then just add their email address into the To field in the Send an email (V2).  Or you can select if from the Search for users section of the dynamic content. Then if you wish to you can copy in the person who created the item by selecting Mail from the Get user profile (V2) and putting it in the CC field. Something like the following:

Your screenshot shows you are using older, deprecated, actions (probably from a template). Make sure you use the up to date ones.

@Anonymous unless you are going to be using the result of the Get user profile (V2) you don't need it. If it's always going to the same person just type in the email address in the To field. I don't know if your structure will work as I don't know what the coalesce expressions are that you've used.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As @RobElliott  said, if you would always send the email to the created by user of the item when the item is created, you needn't add the get user profile action and flow should as below:

    Best regards,

@RobElliott  @v-alzhan-msft  hello I applied this flow structure and worked, the only problem  is that the flow doesnt grab the sender email, so when the email arrives, it shows that comes from the account who created the flow, I tried to set the sender email in the connector search for users V2 but even this, it doesnt take it. could you please assist

The email will come from the account which created the flow. You could use a service account,  or use the Send an Email notification (v3) which will send the email from Microsoft. But there's no way to send it from the "sender".

@RobElliott  Hello, ROb, what happens if the customer requests access to send on behalf of the mentioned email address, should it work, I know that the permission can be delegated from outlook right?
