Passing a parameter into a List query filter

Hi folks,

I'm using "Get Items" in the flow, in which I used Filter Query to narrow the records and do an update on all records in the set. In the filter, I filtered out the "country" of a record.

What I'm going to achieve is to have one single Flow but serves for multiple countries.

So can a parameter be passed to a Filter Query ?

Thanks,
Gavin

    Hi @gavinleung

Please take a look at the screenshot below: dddw.PNG

Here, I am storing all the countries in an array variable and iterating over that array to get individual country in the filter query and finally updating items in the list returned from the filter query.

    Hope this Helps!

Hi @yashag2255 , this was absolutely great ! If the country list changes, the Flow needs to be changed too. So I think I shall use an Excel file to store the country list, so that the user or power user or the administrator can just change the file to get it running.

Let me try and let you know 🙂

    Thanks,

    Gavin

@yashag2255 , thanks for giving me idea. In fact, I dont even need a variable to store the country list. Instead, I used a SP List to store the country list. First loop to get the list, and apply it into the Filter Query of another list.

    Problem solved.

    Thanks,
    Gavin
