My flow kept triggering even when I did not modify any file.

I created a flow with "When a file is modified(properties only)" followed by "Send an email(V2)" through Outlook. It works but somehow it kept on triggering, leading to emails every 5-10 mins even though I did not modify anything. How do I solve this problem?

In your flow, do you do an update action on the file or its properties? If so, you have created an infinite loop. When you update the properties, it is triggering the flow again. Also, even though you created the flow, if anyone other than yourself also updates the file, they will trigger the flow as well.

For now, this is my flow. I don't quite  understand on how to stop the infinite loop. Would really appreciate your help 🙂

If those are the only two actions in your flow, then it wouldn't be creating an infinite loop. The first action is also a OneDrive action, so unless you have shared the folder TEST with someone, nobody but you would be able to update the files located there. Based on your image, this flow will trigger when any file in the folder /TEST is updated and is not specific to one file. I would open this location in your OneDrive and look at the Modified and Modified By values to see when the most recent file was updated.

Maybe you have another flow that is creating or updated files in this location and that is causing this flow to trigger.

There is only 1 file in that folder. And the Modified and Modified By values are still the same, which is the last time I made modification to the file.

In that case, if all the information you provided is correct, you may need to contact Microsoft support directly as I have never encountered this behavior. Hopefully someone else will see this conversation and have an answer for you.
