Connection References for existing flows

Hi all,

 

I've noticed that more of my flows are getting a potential error warning, or suggestion, to use connection references.

 

What I'm wondering is whether I am going to need to go through all existing flows, to reset all connections to connection references?  And in doing so, do I need to update connections within the flows as well?  Most of my flows centre around Dataverse connections, so I'm guessing this would be the primary connection reference required.

    Following up on my original post, when looking through blog posts I noticed that some people found that connection references already replaced their listed connections in the flow.  Is this what I should expect?

    I did also see that this will have a greater impact on connectors that aren't CDS (current environment)/Dataverse as these automatically select the environment.  Do these references only impact other connectors?
